Requirements for Lesson Plan and Teaching Assignment:
1. Choose a skill from the attached list. (Balance Beam or Parallel
Bars)
2. You will be placed with a partner, who will be teaching at the same
time as you.
3. You will plan a lesson to teach one new skill (see no.1) as well
as plan a station activity
going on while you are teaching your new skill.
The class will be divided into 4 groups,
you will be responsible for two groups and your
partner will be responsible for two.
The groups will rotate so the class will be exposed
to each of the skills being presented.
4. You must coordinate with your partner to make sure that you are
selecting different station
activities.
5. Station activities may be:
a. progressions or drills to go along with your
new skill
b. activities from previously learned events: tumbling,
vaulting, uneven bars.
