Assignments, Tests and Quizzes

• Jan. 9 These problems are due on Monday (1/14).
  • Section 2.1, page 50, the odd numbered problems from 1 to 15
  • Section 2.2, page 58, 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9
• Jan. 14, Section 2.3, page 74, problems 1, 5 through 10, 11 through 16, 17, 19, 21 and solve the system consisting of the equations x₁ - 2x₂ + x₃ - x₄ = 6 and 2x₁ -5x₂ +x₃ 3x₄ = -1
• Jan. 16, Section 2.5, problems 1, 3 and 5. These problems are due on Friday (1/18).
• Jan. 30, Section 3.1, page 104, problems 1 through 11 and problem 25 These problems are due Friday, Feb. 1 and will replace Quiz 2.
• Feb. 4, Section 3.2, problems 1, 3, 7, 9, 11, 17, 19 through 22 and 25
• Feb. 6, Section 3.3, page 123, problems 1, 3 and 5 These problems are due Monday, Feb. 11 and will count as one quiz.
• Test 1 has been postponed to Wed., Feb. 13.
• Feb. 8, Section 3.5, page 137, problems 1, 3, 5, 9 through 14 and 21
• Test 1 is Wednesday, Feb. 14. It covers sections 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.5, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 and 3.5.
• Feb. 20, Section 4.2, page 168, problems 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 19 and 27
• Note: We will not be meeting on Friday, Feb. 22.
• March 3, The worksheet handout is due on Wednesday (2/5).
• March 7, Section 5.1, page 204, problems 1 and 3
• March 10, Section 5.1, page 204, problems 5, 7, 9, 19, 21, 25 and 31
• Test 2 is Wednesday, March 19. It covers sections 4.2, 5.1. and the worksheet.
• March 24, Section 5.2, page 210, the odd numbered problems from 1 to 15 and from 19 through 23 These are to be handed in on Wednesday (3/26).
• March 31, A worksheet was handed out today. It will be due on Friday, (4/4) and it is available here March 31 Worksheet .
• April 2, The problems on the March 31st handout are due on Friday (4/4).
• April 4, Section 5.3, problems 1, 5, 9, 11, 13, 17, 18, 19, 21, 23 and 25
• There will be a quiz Wednesday, April 16. It will cover 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3.
• April 14, Section 6.1, page 241, problems 1, 3, 5, 9, 13 and 15
• Note: The quiz has been postponed until Friday, April 18 since there is a senoir meeting third hour on the 16.
• April 21, Section 6.2, page 252, problems 1, 3, 5, 9, 13, 15, 17, 25, 27 and 29. These problems are to be handed in on Wednesday (4/23).
• April 23, Section 6.3, page 257, problems 1, 3 and 5 to be handed in on Friday (4/25).
• Our schedule for the rest of the term is the following: We will meet Friday, April 25 and Monday and Wednesday, April 28 and 30. The last test will be on Friday, May 1.
• April 25, There was no assignment today but we did start on Chapter 7 Section 1.
